As 2024 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year of incredible milestones and partnerships. Our mission is to support social enterprises and charities that make a difference—for people, communities, and the planet - and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved towards it.

From creating community-driven strategies to supporting social enterprises and delivering innovative workshops, this year has been one of growth, innovation, and creativity. Thank you to all our partners, clients, and supporters who made it possible.

Health, Wellbeing & Social Impact

  • Roots and Bloom Business Growth Support: We provided specialist business development support to Roots and Bloom, helping them build sustainable operations focused on growing revenue and increasing social impact.

  • Upbeat Clean Business Model Development: We supported Upbeat Clean in developing a business model whichmeans they can expand their commercial cleaning service, offering good quality work to refugee women, to new cities.

Creative and Cultural Projects

  • Hope Project - Artful CIC: We project managed the Hope Project for Artful-Make it Happen. This ACE funded project trained local Artists and brought a giant Hedgehog to life, to bring out messages of hope for the future from local children in Rotherham.

  • Films for Artistic Spectrum: We created a series of films celebrating creativity and neurodiversity and sharing skills on how to co-design services with people with Autism.

  • Dandelion Arts: We supported this York based creative social enterprise to develop their strategy and apply for funding for new creative projects all about bringing creatity and joy to communities.

Built Environment & Social Enterprise

  • Sheffield Social Enterprise Network: Worked alongside 17 fantastic social enterprises as a speacialist business advisor on the SEGA Progamme.

  • Built Environment for Good Group: We continued to support this fantastic group working on transformative projects linking the built environment to social good.

  • South Yorkshire Doughnut Retrofit Group: We continued participating in this collective dedicated to eihical and economically sustainable housing and retrofit solutions.

  • Sheffield University Workshops: We delivered workshops for architecture students on meaningful community engagement in the built environment and to the social business spin out course on how to grow a successful enterpris.

  • Casting Innovations Workshops: Facilitated creative workshops with home educated children promoting innovative thinking and community cohesion.

Business Development & Consultancy

  • 360 Degree Society: We provided long-term business growth, brand and marketing support to this national sociale enterprise dedicated to tackling health inequalities through practical projects. We led on strategy and direct sales, delivered a re-brand and launched are a few highlights of our year with them

  • SSEN Website: We led the re-brand of Sheffield Social Enterprise Network, developed and launched their new website and filmed some amazing case studies of local social enterprises.

  • Innovatable: We partered with this innovative start up to promote AI training to the social enterprises sector to support digital skills improvement.

  • Coaching for Jack’s Theatre School: Delivered coaching support to their Creative Director Olivia to support this youth musical theatre company to grow.

  • OD Create / Kid’s Plant Trees Partnership: We had a fantastic time working with Anna and the team on several partnership projects with the Economic Recovery Fund and the South Yorkshire Woodland Partnership.

Community engagement & place-based strategies

  • People’s Forest Bid: We co-designed the Community Engagement Strategy for South Yorkshire’s People’s Forest bid in partnership with the South Yorkshire Woodland Partnership, ensuring local voices shaped the future of the region’s natural assets. We’re awaiting the bid outcome!

  • Greener Greenhill: Through the Sheffield Economic Recovery Fund, we collaborated with Greener Greenhill to design and deliver community insights, informing a place-based marketing strategy and brand that worked alongside the area’s identity to support a thriving high street.

As we gear up for 2025, we remain committed to supporting the creation of resilient communities through working in partnerships, on creative solutions, and social enterprise development. Thank you to all our clients, partners, and supporters who made this year a success.
