Greener Greenhill has secured some funding from the council’s Economic Recovery Fund to support local businesses and encourage people to ‘shop local’. Over the next 6 months, they’ll be planting more plants and flowers in the central area, installing community artwork, adding banners on lamp-posts and doing more to promote our local shops and businesses on social media and in the real world.

Through this project we want to bring more people to our local centre, to encourage more people to shop local and make the area more vibrant. We’ve been asking local people for their ideas about what would help us get more people to the local shops and what events they’d like to see. Here’s a sample of what they’ve told us.
